Kate Playgound Mouvie

beloved objects

Camillo Galante
The passage of time is given by many things. From a calendar hanging on the wall, building a snail on the wall of dirt and cobwebs, the presence of more and more rare items in our homes. The image, as the next, and others that I will propose later, probably in 1980, and depicts details of a house inhabited by an elderly farmer alone.

The demolition of the Castle Queen (1) La Cala Marina

unknown author

This image as the next is probably the mid 60 'and gives an account of the demolition of the existing building to the current Castle Queen. Afternoon, and many curious that the bridge and look down the stick at the side effects of the demolition. As in a distant time there is news of the presence in the area of \u200b\u200ba Carmelite convent, there are those who suggested that the convent was located right in the building demolished. Personally I am not convinced of this view and believe that the structures are nineteenth century.

Campbells Mushroom Soup Potatoes

Bath Queen

Camillo Galante
The image is very bad, like quality, (this is what remains of some contact sheets) but I think interesting. These are shots taken during the creation of the clothes-line networks, and coverage of the so-called Bath Queen, still visible in the second step above. We will be in the second half of the 70 ', the negative, maybe I can recover it.

Rom Shiny Gold Soul Silver

Camillo Galante
The Purgatory Church is very ancient, it seems it was built before 1600, however, has undergone so many alterations that already Buccellato Galatioto in his monograph he lamented the devastation. Today is hidden from view by a temporary scaffold (?), Pending the restoration. The image is of the second half of the 70 '.
