Zip Sets Katesplayground

human landscape, "Turiddru"

Era parte di quello che io definisco il "paesaggio umano". Quello che ognuno us and takes as its part of the habitat where they live. Since time is no longer among us. Those my age remember him pushing his baby carriage full of his junk, small things to sell in the local festivities.
The photo is mine and is the second half of the 70 '.

"Endless love" - Tindersticks - Sheperd Bush Empire - London - 24/03/2010

The Tindersticks are, nowadays, the worthy representatives of a certain musical romance decadent and melancholy. In addition to the string instruments, wind instruments and strings that blend into their sweet soft rock music led to the Tindesticks sensusale the voice of Stuart Ashton Staples, one of the men 'most charming of the music scene. The
Tindesticks of Nottingham are part of that England and tormented romantic who is steeped in my imagination by reading Oscar Wilde, John Keats, William Blake and Lord Byron. Nottingham, 'even the city 'of other characters as romantic DH Lawrence, the champion of the poor Robin Hood and the City' the boy who years ago consign me 'a book, asking me to open the page where the bookmark was only when I climb on that' plane that brought me back in Italy, Bergamo from my boyfriend. The book, a collection of poems by Lord Byron. The bookmark was on the page of "She Walks in Beauty."
After many moons, tonight I find myself in this beautiful theater in London to celebrate the new Tindersticks album of languid Nottingham: "Falling Donw the Mountain."
The concert opens with the onoma piece elegantly jazzy flavors and announced a gig sober and refined, as if they are rarely seen here in London.
Seven on stage, seem to be particularly fit, many of their friends, family room. Cellist / saxophonist Andrew Nice is a very warm greeting to a couple of people. But the driving element is always Stuart A. Staples, who despite being a bit 'old continues to inflame the hearts of everyone present. The Tindersticks
during their performance will almost think they are too imbued with romance, sentiment, to be almost complacent even if there are changes to the registry with songs more 'to read as "Black Smoke" and "Hubbard Hill" .
Stuart joked with the crowd "this room I never liked it, but thanks to you is growing in me. "
After two encores, the concert ends with the elegiac "Raindrops"
" See, what we got here is a tired love What we got here
is a lazy love It
mooches around the house Can not wait to

go out What it needs, it just grabs It never
Asks
We sit and watch the
divide widen We sit and listen to crumble
Our Hearts With Our only chance to jump
Neither of us Had the guts
Maybe we're
just too proud to say it out loud Silence is here again tonight

Silence is here again tonight
"
(" Raindrops "- Tindersticks 1993)
Raindrops was one of the highlights of their ononimo first album released in 1993.
I look at the people in the room and I wonder how many of those couples who fell in love on that first Tindersticks album in 90 years, are present in the room tonight, after nearly two decades. I no longer 'news of the boy of Nottingham. Love and 'varied, changes with time, though, during these twenty years, nothing could touch my love for Tindesticks, which is reinforced every year more and more'.

Spellforce Order Of Dawn Wont Play

"Adieu et merci " - Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra - Tuesday 25 March 2010 - Electric Ballroom - London

There are many memories that tie me to the Silver Mount Zion, like that night a decade ago. Evening torrential, driving my red panda on the highway with my friend George to my side and Doug, a guy Australian met a few weeks before. We had to have crossed another dimension when we arrived in Colchester between thunder and lightning, in a small church desecrated, hundreds of people lying on the floor and stage them the Silver Mount Zion. Led by Efrim Menuck were on their first album, with a staff of seven musicians: piano, two guitars, bass guitar, string trio and controbasso. The atmosphere was very relaxed and end of the concert, sitting crossed-legged on stage, chatting with the band. I think Doug fell in love 'forever spiritually Sophie.
Ten years later many things have changed. It is the seventh time tonight I see the live Silver Mount Zion. Doug and 'returned Australia but in Georgia and 'always with me to find the magic of that night in Colchester. Tonight the concert 'sold out already' a few weeks. The Electric Ballroom and 'cold room here in London, a large nightclub with a capacity of 1100 people. I do not know 'cause I'm here tonight, maybe' for a simple reason fedelta'alla band, their philosophy. While performing
Alexander Tucker, I come to the feast of merchandising, and I note that among the disks are also T-shirts.
I think that times were hard and have changed for both the Silver Mount Zion, which by their label, Constellation Records, I smile. Sometimes you are lucky enough to meet people that you can change the life, your way of thinking and even the way you live and I think that I'm smiling 'eternally grateful to Don & Ian Constellation Records for that. I buy the shirt and I'll be 'proud to wear it.
Back on stage, side staircase and 'also the place more' nice to see a concert here at Electric Ballroom. The Silver Mount Zion tonight are only five: guitar, controbasso, drums, two violins and begin their set of compositions that find their equilibrium point at the intersection of punk-rock, neo-classical and klezmer music. The Silver Mount Zion did not disappoint again tonight, the musicians are great, the atmosphere becomes electric.
Personally I preferred when the sound was more 'rich and strong and I feel la mancanza della chitarra di Ian, del violoncello di Beckie.
Si e' anche parlato di pop "we don't play pop because we don't have the look and it's easy and depressing and does not pay. It required dedication and we are shallow". Another question comes spontaneously from the audience, and Godspeed? Efrim and 'the only comment: "You bring them back you fucker. It's easy ... it's only 4 chords 4 chords on a long runaway. " Comments that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth many of these hoping that one day the Godspeed You! Black Emperor, this collective of Montreal in Efrim, Sophie and Thierry were part soon rise again from its ashes. Sophie and Thierry also present them on stage will refrain from any comment and seem puzzled by the comments of Efrim. He then continues his chat with the audience on a personal rant by his passion for The Specials who has learned to swear in English. But the band and the audience back to reality "we want to hear the music."
The evening continues with "There Is a Light" and "1,000,000 Died to Make This Sound" and the public are reminded that even the lamented Vic Chesnutt and Ron Asheton took part in the sound of this group.
Two and a half hours together in the foot, I have bad feet, and my body and 'indolenzito.Concerto absolutely perfect, these seem to live an ecstatic experience but I think my enthusiasm for the band has waned with time, Perhaps with age '(?) and even though we try again, I can not' to try a lot of emotions. Back home and think 'now high time to abandon the Silver Mount Zion on their way. Li ringaziero 'forever for me to have proof that this world there are sick people like them: "beautiful and strong."
